This workshop held by our very own ex-gymnast Bella is great for all levels whether you want a refresher on handstand technique or are starting from scratch.
She'll talk you through the 5 pillars of learning to handstand which are...
1. Understanding the shape
2. Core strength
3. Strengthening the whole body
4. Getting the balance right
5. Kicking up and falling out
You'll go through each pillar and work on drills to teach you how to safely and effectively perform a handstand.
Practice always makes perfect with these skills so don’t expect to be able to do one straight away.
Keep working at it and get comfortable with being inverted.
What you'll need is plenty of space (ideally outside!) a wall and a chair.
